Fraudonnay began with a simple idea: that indulgence and balance could share the same glass.

We're Marisol and Mark. Twenty-three years together, and what we've learned is that the greatest gift is being present — the ability to slow down, savor, and enjoy the moments that matter.

Marisol is an architect from Bogotá who leads global design for a major hospitality corporation. She has spent her career on how a room makes people feel. Mark runs operations, finance and production. Between us we are older parents to a spirited seven-year-old and her equally lively puppy, and our days revolve around finding balance — between chaos and calm, wellness and indulgence.

Before parenthood we built a life around food, travel, and beautiful experiences. One of us drinks wine. One of us doesn't. But we both love the ritual — the pour, the pause, the connection, the toast. And for years, one of us was always holding a glass of something sad.

Everything we tried was too sweet, too sugary, too obviously a substitute. So we made our own.

We started with real Sauvignon Blanc from three Washington State appellations — Yakima Valley, Wahluke Slope and Ancient Lakes — and had the alcohol removed by spinning cone — the gentlest and most expensive process there is — so that what came out was still wine. Not a wine-flavored beverage. Wine.

In July 2026, a panel of professional wine buyers tasted it blind, without knowing what it was, and gave it Double Gold and 96 points.

They confirmed what we already believed. You do not have to choose.
